Free access to food allergy articles in high impact journals

 Elsevier, and the editors of the official journals of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), have made several recent food allergy research articles free to access until 30 November 2018.

The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, with an Impact Factor of 13.258 is the highest ranking allergy journal in the world. Papers that have temporarily been made freely available from this journal include the September 2018 articles ‘Accidental food allergy reactions: Products and undeclared ingredients’ and ‘Early life indicators of persistent food allergy’, among others. The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice, with a 6.966 Impact Factor is the second highest ranked allergy journal. Papers from this journal that are currently freely available focus on oral immunotherapy for peanut allergy, tolerance of baked milk products among children with milk allergy and wheat-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis. To access the papers, visit the Elsevier website prior to 30 November 2018.
