New members

The Allergen Bureau are pleased to welcome three new Associate Member companies – the Food Industry Research & Development Institute, Taiwan; Integrity Compliance Solutions and Eagle Foods Australia. Associate membership packages are suitable for small to medium food industry organisations of up to 100 full time equivalent employees – as well as an Individual Associate membership option for individual operators. For multinational and large organisations (>100 FTEs), we offer Global and Full Membership options.

 Food Industry Research & Development Institute, Taiwan

 The Food Industry Research and Development Institute (FIRDI) is a non-profit legal entity established in 1965 with financial support from the Canners’ Association of Taiwan,CIECD (Council for International Economic Cooperation and Development) and JCRR (Joint Commission on Rural Reconstruction). Functions of the FIRDI include:

  • Help establish the general policy of food industry development and execute consulting service to the food industry;
  • Develop new technology, new products and to improve the sanitation and quality of processed foods;
  • Help accelerate transformation and upgrading of the food industry;
  • Disseminate food technological and marketing information and provide processing and management techniques;
  • Organize training programs and seminars to upgrade the level of processing technology.

Integrity Compliance Solutions

Integrity Compliance Solutions (ICS) has been provided with a complimentary membership for the 2017/18 Allergen Bureau year. ICS was the winner of our free membership offer at the recent 2nd Food Allergen Management Symposium in Sydney. ICS’s Margaret Balfour entered the free membership competition and her entry was pulled out from the box of other entrants by Philip Hill, R-Biopharm.

Eagle Foods Australia is local to Bendigo and prides themselves on manufacturing only the best quality products with their authentic, traditional recipes and top quality standards.

In addition, nine (9) new Individual Members have joined the Allergen Bureau since the start of this year.
