NZ Best Practice Food Allergen Management Award – Nominations Open Now

Do you do best practice allergen management well in your company or organisation? Have you made an improvement in an area of your Allergen Management plan? We would love you to share your story with us and nominate yourself. C’mon, don’t be shy!  When you share others learn.

The Allergen Bureau and the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology (NZIFST) collaborate to offer this award for best practice food allergen management in New Zealand.

In accordance with the Allergen Bureau Mission, the Award Selection Committee will decide the award recipient based on their contribution to leading the New Zealand food industry in best practice allergen management, sharing information that builds trust and transparency that supports allergen sensitive consumers to make informed choices.

The Allergen Bureau encourages self-nomination from any person or organisation making a significant contribution to best practice food allergen management in New Zealand. 
The award recipients will gain ANZ and international recognition for their excellence in food allergen management.

The award will be presented at the 2022 NZIFST Conference in Rotorua, 5-7 July 2022. 
The award winner will receive a complimentary registration to attend the Allergen Bureau’s Food Allergen Management Symposium (FAMS) including a return economy airfare to Australia and three nights’ accommodation.

The organising committee has commenced planning FAMS 2023 in mid May next year. More information to be provided over the coming months – in the meantime pop a placeholder in your calendar!
