Food Allergy Canada has recently shared a new research article, published in the International Journal of Nutrients: Food Allergy and Foodservice: A Comparative Study of Allergic and Non-Allergic Consumers’ Behaviours, Attitudes, and Risk Perceptions.
This study highlights a potentially higher burden of disease (psychological and social strain, reduced quality of life) among a subgroup of the food-allergic population (convenience sample), as reflected in their behaviours, attitudes, and risk perceptions towards meals prepared in foodservice establishments.
Food Allergy Canada have acknowledged and congratulated the work of Dr. Fatemeh Shirani, Silvia Dominguez, Jérémie Théolier, Jennifer Gerdts, Kate Reid, Sébastien La Vieille, and Samuel Godefroy in their recent LinkedIn post.
