The Allergen Bureau’s VITAL (Voluntary Incidental Trace Allergen Labelling) Program is a standardised allergen risk assessment process for food industry. Our team maintains an active list of priorities for upgrades to VITAL Online based on VITAL Online user suggestions. These suggestions are prioritized and actioned as soon as possible.
This week, we are pleased to advise that functionality to both archive and restore items has now been added to VITAL Online. The archive functionality allows users to restore recipes, ingredients and processing profiles which have been deleted in VITAL Online.
Carrying out a VITAL risk assessment assists a food company to thoroughly review the allergen status of all the ingredients and the processing conditions that contribute towards the allergen status of the finished product.
