VITAL 4.0 Update

Thank you to all stakeholders and VITAL Program users who have reached out regarding the launch of VITAL® 4.0, the summary document, FAQs, and the updated Food Industry Guide to the VITAL Program. Some of you have requested clarification on the shrimp Reference Dose listed in the VITAL 4.0 Summary and FAQ document. We can confirm that, according to page 90 of the FAO and WHO 2022 Report: Risk Assessment of Food Allergens: Part 2, this value applies to all crustacea. We have updated the document to clarify this point with a footnote on page 6.
