The VITAL® Standard – a certification program for food manufacturers

Are you ready to be certified? VITAL certified that is!

Did you know that the Allergen Bureau has a VITAL Standard – an auditable version of our globally recognised VITAL (Voluntary Incidental Trace Allergen Labelling) Program?

The VITAL Program is a standardised allergen risk assessment process for food industry -with the VITAL Standard being a supplementary certification program for food manufacturers that are already certified to GFSI recognised food safety management standards that include allergen management.

If you have already implemented the VITAL Program, then it’s not a huge leap to being VITAL certified.

Want to be VITAL Certified? It starts with completion of a VITAL Standard Application Form that you will then need to submit to your preferred Certification Body and a copy to the Allergen Bureau.
