Welcome Allergy Voyage

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Allergen Bureau relies on membership and services revenue to fund our work, and we are grateful to the many businesses who have supported us over our 20 years. For many, membership demonstrates commitment to staff, suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities. It is always wonderful to welcome overseas members, and this month we introduce you to Allergy Voyage, who are taking on the food service challenge in the USA.

Allergy Voyage is a concierge service that hosts menus for individuals with dietary restrictions to view, helping them feel safer and more confident when dining, while simultaneously increasing restaurant revenue. Currently, when a user creates a free account on our platform, they can find local dining, filter menus based on their dietary needs, save dishes to their account, and learn more about individual restaurants. On the restaurant-facing side of our platform, we establish individual relationships with each of our partners, guiding them through our onboarding process and enabling them to update their ingredient and allergen information as they see fit. We provide our partners with an

interactive menu management platform that is designed to increase menu transparency and alleviate stress on restaurant staff, along with discounted access to food safety handling platforms, while further promoting their brand.

Allergy Voyage sees a future where people with food allergies are able to dine safely at any restaurant with confidence and security. Our vision encompasses an interconnected community that crosses cultures, allowing users to enjoy the experience of food despite the dietary restrictions they might have. Food provides a human connection, allowing communication across boundaries. People with food allergies should not be excluded from this conversation.

Members have access to the latest information, resources, practical tools, and industry contacts, helping you save time and money in addressing food allergen issues in a professional way.
