Allergen Bureau Features in Food Australia 

As we approach a significant milestone for the Allergen Bureau in 2025, it is an opportune time to look back and reflect on the ongoing collaboration to develop best practice food allergen management. As featured in the latest edition of Food Australia, we discuss our origins from a pivotal meeting nearly two decades ago to now, where the Allergen Bureau has evolved into a pinnacle industry non-profit organisation, shaping best practices in food allergen management. 

2025 marks 20 years since its establishment in 2005, a milestone deserving dedicated celebration, and we look forward to sharing more on the celebrations planned in the coming months. 

The latest edition of Food Australia is also celebrating a significant milestone – 75 years! As a contributing author to Food Australia, we are proud that it supports AIFST’s mission to advance and inspire all food sector professionals to champion a robust, innovative science-based Australian food industry to meet future food needs.
