In May, the Allergen Bureau visited New Zealand to host a free industry forum in Auckland focused on today’s evolving challenges in allergen management.
Held at the AsureQuality Auckland Laboratory, the session brought together industry representatives and experts from across the food supply chain to discuss emerging issues impacting consumers, regulators and global markets.
Under the theme “Today’s Challenges”, the forum explored:
- Today’s consumer — evolving expectations, needs and risk perception
- Industry challenges — navigating increasing complexity and changing demands
- A practical gluten masterclass — including gluten cross contact risk and making claims confidently
The forum provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain practical insights, hear diverse perspectives and share feedback on the key challenges and priorities facing industry moving forward.
